AUTOINDUCTION
AND SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION: COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN MICROBIAL POPULATIONS
In Ukrainian
The discovery of intercellular communication
mechanisms in bacterial populations has shaken the conception of
eukaryotic autonomous existence, according to which it was considered
that the spectrum of information, that is available for perception in
microorganisms is restricted to exogenous signals, concern only the
surrounding conditions for existence (in particular, availability of
plastic and energetic resources, рН, temperature, and so on). More than
30 years ago the ability of bacterialal population to coordinate their
behavior was discovered. At present in many species various mechanisms
of production, reception and utilization of signal information for
regulation of expression of certain genetic complexes were described.
The existence of interspecies signal interference was demonstrated.
Moreover, it was shown that in evolution process these very mechanisms
were used for signal information perception and utilization in
multicellular organisms, which allows speaking about existence of
principally new level of adaptation behavior regulation in microbial
populations. We call your attention to a short review of general theses
and separate trends of research in the field that is considered for good
reason to be the sphere of the most dynamic development in modern
microbiology.

HORMONAL BRANCH OF IMMUNOSUPPRESSION
MECHANISM
In Russian
The hormonal reactivity of
hypophysis-thyroid gland system and glucocorticoid hormones of
hypothalamo-hypophyso-adrenocortical system in immunization of rabbits with a bovine diarrhea
virus strain “Oregon
With - 24V”(BDV) was studied. The examined systems are involved in mechanism of the
immunosupression influence of BDV on the organism. This indicates that
these systems can be used for an early estimation of virus strains
immunogenicity level in the new vaccine preparation development.

PECULARITIES OF LICE INFESTATION AMONG
CHILDREN IN UKRAINE (1990-2004)
In Ukrainian
The general tendency for decreasing the lice infestation
both among all the population and the children under 14 was found. The
level of the children’s infestation was higher than that of the adults.
The head lice infestation predominated over the body and mixed lice
infestation. The highest infestation was among children of the age
groups 7-14 years old and in such social groups as the schoolchildren in
the boarding schools and the children who didn’t attend any
kindergarten. The body and mixed lice infestation occur more frequently
in these groups as compared with other groups of children too. Lice
infestation preserkes its epidemiological significance as the vector of
the causative agent of trench fever. It has the negative influence on
the current epidemiological situation in the state.

RESEARCH ACTION OF PROBIOTICS CULTURE OF
A.VІRІDANS INTERTWINED CULTURES OF CELLS
In Ukrainian
Information is presented about the cytopathic
effect of probiotics culture of Aerococcus viridans N 167 on the in
tissue culture of Hep-2, RD and L-41. Cytopathic stability in tissue
culture of Hep-2 is set to A.viridans in conctntration 6∙10 5 CGU/ml.

ANTAGONISTIC INFLUENCING OF CULTURES
А.VІRІDANS ON VIBRIOS
In Ukrainian
In work the mutual
relations of Àerococcus viridans are investigational with
V.parahaemolyticus, V.alginоlyticus and V. cholerae non О1. Antagonistic
activity is set A.viridans in regard to V.parahaemolyticus,
V.alginоlyticus and V.cholerae non О1. Different oxydase and
antagonistic activity of cultures A.viridans testifies to the additional
bactericidal factors which need further study.

THE MICROBIOCENOS OF LARYNGOPHARYNX OF
PATIENTS WITH ACUTE EPIGLOTTITIS
In Russian
The microbiological inspection of 70 patients with acute
epiglottitis displayed, that microbial flora of mucous membrane of
epiglottis includes a lot of pathogenic and opportunistic bacterias,
which belong to different taxons and also funguses C. albicans. The
evolution of catarrhal and necrotic forms of acute epiglottitis doesn't
depend on specific composition of microbial flora and extent of
contamination of mucous membrane of epiglottis.

Improvement of Nutrient Media for
Microbiological Diagnostics of Bartonella infection
In Ukrainian
To improve nutrient
media for the more rapid isolation and growth of Bartonella spp. strains
there was studied the stimulating effect on them of number of
ingredients: hemine (HEM); stimulator of plague microbe growth (SPMG);
mixture of the products of enzyme hydrolysis of yeast (MPEHY); growth
stimulating mixture consisting of dipyrimidyl pyrimidine (tertamethoxy)-ethicanine,
tetraethyl-tetramethoxy-phenyl-iso-quinoline, phenylmethylbenz-imidazole
(DPD). It was found that the character and degree of stimulating effect
of studied ingredients on growth of Bartonella spp. strains is
determined by type of the stimulator and its concentration in medium.

DEVELOPMENT AND LABORATORY SCALING OF SOME
ANTIMICROBIAL PREPARATIONS AND ANTIBIOTICS
In Russian
Technology of core tablets based on study antimicrobial
drugs of Levofloxacine hemihydrate and Claritromicine technological
behaviour was conducted by wetting granulating with polymer granulated
excipients. The release being insensitive to variations in the pH of the
dissolution medium can be obtain thanks to district maintenance of wet
granulation conditions both in mortar as in pilot equipment. The main
technological conditions what can change in scale up are conditions of
blending, the temperature of product, time of drying. The choice of
moisturizer concentration determines the difference of tablet mass
behavior during wetting and influence on technological behavior of mass.
